"It is only in the times of chaos and confusion... "The times of confusion and chaos are the greatest times to live in. When the society is static there is not much to live for, to live with. When a society is secure and there is no confusion and there is no chaos, then people live a dull, drab, dragging life - comfortable, convenient, stable, but not alive. "It is only in the times of chaos and confusion that great things happen, because people are loose. They are loose, uprooted: they can search for new soils, they can search for new lands, they can search for new countries, they can search for new continents of being." Osho

is a technique in which you make nonsense sounds: sounds that have no
objective meaning or significance. The waking mind always thinks in words
and puts arbitrary subtitles on our feelings! Gibberish helps to break up
this pattern of continual verbalization. Without suppressing your thoughts
or emotions, you can throw them out without any inhibitions. After one
hour, you stop and go deep inside. "Gibberish
is one of the most scientific ways to clean your mind.... If you can do
the gibberish you are cleansing your mind of all kinds of dust that goes
on gathering. And as the mind becomes silent...there is nowhere to go
other than inwards." Osho To
experience how talking nonsense can be a doorway to meditation, visit the
new meditation section for a sample of Gibberish and Let-Go The Mystic Rose Meditative

New eBook, New Microsoft Reader Microsoft has a new version of its Reader software that is much more flexible and user-friendly. If you want to upgrade, you can download it free. Then you can use it to read Osho Yoga: Yoga for the 21st Century. The book has been specially compiled for those who would like to take their Yoga practice deeper, and Osho addresses questions such as: How to know if Yoga is the right direction for you? What is the difference between the various types of Yoga? How important are the various postures - and how safe? The Osho perspective is always refreshingly pragmatic and - often outrageously - radical. It raises some potentially controversial issues, which are relevant for any contemporary Yoga practitioner and/ or teacher. If Yoga was invented for men, how does it impact the altogether different and much more sensitive female body-mind? Given that women are practicing Yoga, can they break free of the male-inspired form and create a feminine version? Being will-oriented, is it possible that Yoga reinforces the very mind that meditation is meant to dissolve? How helpful are old, orthodox methods for living in the world today? Find the new book at barnesandnoble.com along with several other Osho eBook titles. |
